Nvidia CEO Huang Relying on Others to Develop AI Infrastructure is not an Option

Huang urged countries to take the initiative and build the necessary infrastructure to capitalize on the economic potential of AI while safeguarding their own culture.

According to Huang, relying on others to develop AI infrastructure is not an option. He urged countries to activate their industries and prioritise the speedy development of AI infrastructure.

Addressing concerns about the risks of AI, Huang pointed out that other industries such as cars and aviation have successfully implemented regulations. He believes that fears about the dangers of AI are overblown.

Nvidia, a company valued at US$1.73 trillion due to its dominance in high-end AI chips, claims to be working to make AI more accessible through efficient computing. Huang stated that Nvidia is democratising access to AI.

In response to recent US restrictions on its AI chips, Nvidia announced its collaboration with customers in China and the Middle East to obtain export licenses for compliant products.
