Google has launched Gemini, an advanced AI model that mimics human behavior. This advancement in artificial intelligence is set to spark further debate about its potential benefits and risks.

Since the launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT about a year ago, Google has been aggressively developing AI software to rival its Microsoft-backed competitor.

Gemini comes in three versions, each designed for different levels of processing power. The most powerful version is for data centers, while the smallest version is optimised for mobile devices.

Gemini can quickly summarise recordings and provide automatic replies on messaging services like WhatsApp. It currently only works in English but will eventually support other languages.

Google plans to integrate Gemini into its search engine in the future, although the timeline for this transition is unclear.

Google highlights Gemini's problem-solving skills in math and physics, raising hopes for scientific breakthroughs that can enhance human life.
