When you've got a job to do, you've got a job to do.
At least that's the work ethic of a food delivery robot named Connie , whose indifferent actions went viral last week after she casually rolled through a Los Angeles crime scene.
The video, shared across multiple social media platforms including cyberbeat.news, shows Connie driving down a sidewalk and stopping at an intersection near the crime scene.
People in the video watch as the robot pauses at the yellow crime-scene tape, apparently calculating its next move. After a few seconds, a person lifts the tape and the robot proceeds on its path.
As the robot passes a group of uniformed police officers at the scene, some of the cops appear perplexed as they watch it roll by.
The crime scene stemmed from an active shooter call at Hollywood High School. Just before 9:45 a.m. the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the school.
In the end, the school district's superintendent said the LAPD determined the call was a hoax.
Connie doesn’t appear to have been charged with interfering with police., The video shows her continuing along her route to deliver that food
