Apple has pledged to invest a staggering US$500 billion in North American ventures over the next four years.
The tech giant's broad investment plan includes constructing an AI server factory in Texas and creating 20,000 R&D jobs nationwide. This sum also takes into account acquisitions from US suppliers, as well as domestic content creation for its streaming platform, Apple TV+.
Despite the looming threat of tariffs on Chinese-assembled products, Apple remains committed to bolstering the US economy. Among its planned initiatives is a substantial increase in the Advanced Manufacturing Fund and the establishment of a manufacturing academy in Michigan.
