DP World Australia, one of the country's largest port operators, has announced that operations have resumed at all its facilities following a cyber security incident.
The incident forced the company to suspend operations for three days. This breach had a significant impact on the company, which handles about 40 percent of Australia's imports and exports.
It affected container terminals in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Fremantle.
DP World disconnected from the internet after detecting the breach, causing disruptions in freight movements. It is unclear if any ransomware demands were made.
